Hey wait a minute that just gave me an idea; I could create podcasts as well, I need to find out where I can post them, I could extract the audio from the videos I make or even better make brand new files using my mobile phone. Cool thats what I’m going to do after I made the 12 videos that I have in mind then I will be making the podcasts for them.

I’m thinking I could make videos about different WordPress plugins that I have found and what they do, how to get them, how to setup the settings and how to use them. Also I could add to it what situations are they good for. That should give me a plentty to talk about on the podcast and on the video alike.

I finally understood how to post to the site properly I gess i just needed to add a video to understand it well you learn a new thing every day right?.

The main thing that he was saying is that if you use the microsite for any brand or nitch you will endup with a very diluted brand an search results that means the customer is not going to be happy and so Google has to do something about it like I don’t know another update perhaps.

I know that these are just guesses at this point but I would say that it does make a lot of sense and if there is one thing that I have learned is to not to ignore whatever that makes sense, OR ELSE…!

So I would say that the best way to do this is to make authority websites about the brand and products that we are trying to promote and use their authority as well as their reputation to promote your product or nitch, to me that makes sense.

1) On-Page SEO

OK everybody knows about on-page SEO but here is the short list of the important stuff:

a) Keyword in Title tag and Description.

b) Keyword in the content and the content as to be related to the keyword

c) Linking to related website.

d) No Duplicated content

e) No dead site – by that I mean your content has to be updated regularly don’t get 40 domains and just put 5 pages online and expect to get 50,000 visitors a day on each because it’s you! (OK, I made one mistake, just let it go will you?!)

2) Off-Page SEO

Off-Page SEO is a stuff that you do outside your website to get traffic here is the shortlist:

a) Article Marketing

This one goes deeper here are the ones that I know so far:

i) Systems – the systems that will give you the ability to post content to their website with link back to your own website

ii) Commenting – using commenting in other people’s related blog and get a link or two back

iii) Article Directories

iv) Wiki websites

b) Press Releases

c) Video Marketing for link building

These are the videos that you make only to get links to your site and not for any other reason you will get some link goody and also some people will just type the address in the video

d) Directories & forums

Free Directories & Forums you can use them to get link back in two different ways

i) create a profile with your link in their signature part of the profile

ii) comment to the forums and yo may get 1 link back in a comment that you add to the forum

iii) adding your site to a Web Directory to get a link back and some people still use them so they might find you

e) Statistics Sites

probably the fastest way to get indexed by google in these websites you just post your URL and you get a link back it is most likely that the link that you will get this way is not related your website but it will be a way for google to find your site fast to index it.

f) Sites like DMOZ

3) Mobile Marketing

For this you first need a Mobile friendly version of your site you can make that using some WordPress plugins or just go to a mobile site builder tools like mobi site glore.

you can use Quick codes for the address of the site to advertise on your site or anywhere that you can to get people to your site. Also you can use SMS to send people in your list coupons or other offers and you can use Admob which is much cheaper than normal PPC to get clients to your site(well the mobile version of your site)

4) Video Marketing

This is good for two reasons :

1) Keeping people in your site longer(which google is taking into considerations)

2) You can send the video to places like google and other people will show them on their own website and you will get a link back from them. Also you can watermark your video with the brand name or the website address and if the video is helpful to the visitors some will type the address in to see what else do you have on your site.

5) Pictures

OK, I know pictures are not as important as video or Articles but every little helps and all you have to do is to name them correctly and put the tags in and you are done.

6) Social Marketing

I don’t think that I need to explain this one as we all know Social bookmarking is a fantastic way to get google to your site(even if it is for a short time that they are active) but you can also get visitors to be interactive with you and as the result they will be more loyal to your site and brand.

7) PDF & Other Documents

A lot of people are looking for PDF files and you can make them freely using soft-wares like Open Office and just include a link in the footer of the pages and if you are providing a good content people will come to your site to see what you have to offer them. As for other documents the same thing applies.

8 ) RSS

A lot of people use RSS feeds to populate their sites and if your RSS feed is on the RSS directory(I think that is what they are called), Yours will be picked and shown to those sites and people will click on them if they find them interesting and come to your site.

9) Podcasts

Basically the same as video marketing just with audio

10)Offline Marketing

Offline marketing is when you do something outside of the web to get people to your site like printing T-Shirts with your website address or brand on it or mouse pads or pay people to have your brand on their foreheads and walk around they city for a whole day(Oh yes I have seen that and it was funny!).

These are the 10 Traffic sources that I have found so far and I am at number one at the moment and a little bit of number 2.

1) We force feed our content to the visitors so they have to see what we have to offer.

In another word we have to force them to come to our site. Usually it is because we don’t have anything to contribute (or maybe we just started).

2) We let the visitors to come to us.

We give them what they want when the wanted and how the wanted so they WANT to come to our site and read through our content and listen to our advise or follow our recommendations.

In another word if we have a very good content then the visitors will come to us because they want to and the best way to achieve this is to make the content of our site

1) Interesting to visitors.

Here is a good question: have you been to YouTube recently? I mean for yourself not for business. well most people have that’s the reason Google bought YouTube. Now here is another question WHY did you go to YouTube? If you look at it closely you will find that the reason that we all use you tube(with exception to the marketers) is because they have something that is interesting to us, it is engaging(we can add our own videos) and it makes us feel like we are part of it( and we are. well with exception of the profits for advertisement of it!). Another examples of this are wikipedia, online game sites and almost any website that we use a lot(including Google).

2) Something that they need

Have you been to eBay, Amazon or any e commerce? do you know why thy are popular? its because people who come there are very interested in buying ; well anything they sell. How many times you have been in a membership or another? have yourself why? the real reason is that that site has something that you need. it can be information that you are looking for like training programs or w3schools, or it can be a service that they provide and you need like email, hosting(if you have a site), etc.

3) completely Unique both in the eyes of the search engine(SEO doesn’t hurt)

Nothing that I have said here means that we have to stop what we are doing for social media, SEO or any other marketing method that we do. What it does mean is that we pay a lot more attention to our content so visitors would love our site and they will come to us instead of we forcing them into coming to our site and in order for them to do that first they have to find us so I will be doing my usual SEO but I will pay a lot more attention to the content of the site.

4) completely fresh content in the eyes of the visitors.

How many time when you where looking for some information you have seen the same rehashed content over and over? the same content that has just been Spinned by someone to pass with google? Now the interesting part of the question: How long did you STAY in that page? Well I can tell you I just press the back button. Why? because they had nothing to offer me I already have seen what they where selling from another guy so why would I spend my time and energy reading their content? so Fresh content in the eyes of the visitors. Think News Paper sites, Think Yahoo Answers, AOL answers or any other site that keep their content fresh, How long do you spend time on them?

Well it was just a revelation that I just had and I thought share it with you guys.

Its Seopanel you simply install it on a domain and then inside you can add all of your sites it will use scheduling cron(scheduling tasks on a server)to track our rankings for a specific keyword, our back links or our PR and all you have to do is install it set your data and then just leave it.

it will give you all this information using numbers as well as graphs and the best of all its completely free for everyone to use.

it also has a lots of directories that you can submit your site to and the cool thing is that it can check the submission status. You can also buy some plug-ins that will allow you to do more functionalities like checking to see if your back-links are active or not, add a new directories to submit to or add other search engines to get your ranking from.

1)First I site down and just write a list of the articles that I can think of in that moment that I can Write about.

2)I went to iGoogle and did the following:

I) created a tab and I called it inspirations.
II) Went to google Alert.
III)Created two Alerts and set all of the settings to as open as possible
IV) set those two to be used as a feed and added them to the inspiration tab
V) then I just check them every day to get an inspiration about what to write about

3) while the Alert thing is being filled with google I just wrote about the things in my own list and filled it up and as I remove Items from it I add the Interesting ideas to the list from the Alert.

This way you will always have something to write about. And here are a few tips about writing (well these are the ones that I came up with):

1) Write about stuff that are actually interesting to me not the boring stuff

2)I don’t look at keywords or anything like that. the way I think about it is every article has its own keywords somewhere I will be ranking for something and then by using links I just funnel it into a single page and all the articles are about the subject that I’m looking to rank for, so I’m good

1) making an authority website about Web development
2) making an authority site about Internet marketing
3) get into warrior forum to sell products in there(themes, scripts and sale pages)
4) work on making a mailing list using my web development site and using the Internet marketing site (one each)
5) make a list using mobile marketing
6) make a social profile of 1000+ followers/friends
7) making my first product(teaching product)

I also have other ideas but for time being these are the things that I will be doing in the near feuture.
